An Open Letter to the GIS Teachers on World Teacher's Day

BY DALIDA FROEMEL

The 5th of October was a wonderful occasion to say out loud how much we students appreciate teachers’ work.

Now more than ever, teachers deserve our appreciation. Even during virtual learning, they work very hard and never give up on us. I have been with some of my teachers for years now, and I can say that all of them definitely left a sign in my life and in my friends’ lives too.

I can appreciate that with their way of setting us up, teachers are going to give us an advantage whatever we do in the future.

So here is my ‘Thank you’ to the GIS Teachers for the many hours they put in and outside of the school day to make sure they are prepared for their students.

I also want to thank our teachers for never giving up on any of us. Even when the subject they teach is a difficult one, teachers still do their best to transfer their knowledge to us.

My teachers have immense confidence and belief in students’ potential to succeed. Thank you for believing in each and every one of us.

I would like to conclude by saying how our teachers have a great impact on student's lives during our learning, and we will remember about all their hard work and dedication for the rest of our lives.
